When is hydrotherapy not appropriate?

You will be assessed by a physiotherapist before your first hydrotherapy appointment. Certain conditions may prohibit you from hydrotherapy. 

These include:

  • Wound or skin infection
  • Viruses/stomach upset
  • Raised temperature
  • Uncontrolled High/low blood pressure
  • Breathing difficulties
  • Some kidney problems
  • Angina/ some heart problems
  • Incontinence
  • Infection
